We're volunteers who built the tool we desperately needed.
WHERE WE COME FROM
When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, we didn't wait for someone else to act. As Ukrainian volunteers living in Finland, we threw ourselves into humanitarian logistics — warehouses, convoys, fundraising, bureaucracy, reporting. Every euro accounted for.
We saw brilliant grassroots NGOs do extraordinary work while drowning in payment friction and donor invisibility. We saw generous donors who wanted to help but had no idea which organizations they could trust.

So we built Dopo Help — not as outsiders optimizing a system, but as insiders who know where it breaks.

Donors deserve to know where their money goes. Not a vague cause area — the actual organization, the actual impact. Opacity erodes trust, and trust is everything
A recurring €10 is worth more to an NGO than a one-off €50. Predictable income lets organizations plan, hire, and grow — yet it's the hardest thing to set up. We make it the default.
Grassroots organizations doing transformative work rarely have marketing budgets. The ones who most need visibility get the least. Dopo Help is built to fix that imbalance.
Every unnecessary click in a donation flow is a barrier to generosity. We believe the people doing good work shouldn't have to fight their own tools.

Two founders. One mission. A combined decade of hands-on NGO work between them — and a deep impatience for systems that don't serve the people who need them most.

Vitaliy is a software engineer with 10+ years of experience and a background in volunteering and NGO leadership in Finland. He co-founded Dopo Help to bridge the gap between donors and trustworthy organizations, drawing on his firsthand experience in the field. He believes that technology should make giving simpler, more transparent, and more direct.
CMO, Co-Founder
Mariia is a fundraising projects coordinator, teacher, and NGO board member in Finland. After moving to Finland in 2022, she started volunteering and working directly with grassroots organizations. Having experienced vulnerability herself, she understands both the needs of people receiving help and the challenges faced by the organizations supporting them. This perspective shapes her work at Dopo Help.
THE NAME
From the Ukrainian word
Meaning "help." Not abstract charity. Not institutional giving.
Help — the direct, human kind. The kind Ukrainians turned into a national superpower when it mattered most.
